Only a few days after Universal Orlando’s official announcement that “construction activity” would be coming to the Lost Continent section of Islands of Adventure, the first construction walls have been spotted.
Construction Begins at Lost Continent

There’s a wall on the bridge between Seuss Landing and the Lost Continent. The signs on the wall just read, “Set Enhancement in Progress,” with the Universal Islands of Adventure logo.

The wall is tied to the bridge’s chain railing with rope. Behind it, we could see some planks.

We spotted this wall outside the now-defunct Poseidon’s Fury attraction. It’s on the left side of the attraction’s facade.
Earlier this month, the Orlando Business Journal reported that Universal had filed a permit to demolish five acres of land at Universal Islands of Adventure. Universal’s followup about “construction activity” all but confirmed that Lost Continent was finally going the way of its name.
