Reviews

Lump Crab Cake – $7.50

with cajun-spiced vinegar slaw and rémoulade

The crab had a mild, sweet flavor that wasn’t overly fishy. The breading was cooked perfectly and seasoned well, and the slaw was fresh with a strong vinegar kick. However, nothing stood out from other crab cakes we’ve tried previously.

(NEW) Peruvian Ceviche – $7.50

with mahi mahi, shrimp, sweet potato, chulpe, choclo, and leche de tigre

The shrimp outshines the mahi mahi in this dish. The accompanying herbs and veggies are fresh, and the citrus vinegar sauce ties the dish together. Overall, this is a solid dish, but again, nothing special for a festival stacked with solid options.

(NEW) Seaside Pot Pie – $7.50

with shrimp, scallops, crawfish tails, and lobster bisque topped with puff pastry

The puff pastry nice and flaky. In fact, we recommend using a spoon with this dish to crack open the pastry and dig in. The lobster bisque is flavorful, strong, and delicious. However, we thought the pastry and bisque overpowered the actual seafood flavors, and we didn’t get all that much of the shrimp, scallops, or crawfish.
