Trails end restaurant gave you that old country feeling and a meal that was more than quick snack. Where you could get a complete sit down meal with mash potatoes and vegetables. It will be truly missed. Not everyone in the campground cooks.

After Trails End Restaurant closes, then there’s no reason to go camping there. We have been going to Trails End since we started going to Fort Wilderness. Since 1978 we have enjoyed family time eating together as a family. So now no sense in going to Fort Wilderness at all.

Big mistake in turning TrailsEnd into quick service. That would leave Fort Wilderness as the only resort without a table service restaurant.

As of March 23rd it appears the restaurant is closed for both breakfast & dinner on Tuesdays and Wednesdays through April.

I have great memories of eating late night pizza and listening to the guitarist/singer here after an evening at the parks. Nice way to end the day.
