MagicBand+ interaction will begin today with some of the Disney100 decorations at Disneyland Resort.
MagicBand+ will be able to interact with these platinum medallions and the platinum statues of Mickey and Minnie. The interactions will be similar to those at Walt Disney World with the golden Fab 50 statues, where you wave your MagicBand+ to trigger a sound. A MagicBand+ sign will be next to the decorations that can be interacted with.
We saw speakers installed near a medallion and some lighting effects tested in the past few weeks.
