Disney has announced that reservations for Roundup Rodeo BBQ, a new restaurant in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, will open on February 21.
Roundup Rodeo BBQ will open on March 23. The Disney Eats Instagram shared a preview of the restaurant’s interior, which resembles a cardboard box that Andy has colored and filled with his toys.
The ceiling is made up of board games and comics. The video was taken before tables and chairs were moved in.
Here is how Disney describes the restaurant:
Using some of his favorite toys, games, and playsets, Andy has created a rodeo arena for his toys … and all honorary toys visiting Andy’s backyard. Chow down on house-smoked meats, a roundup of sides, sweet surprises, and more in this western-themed family-style restaurant, where you’ll see the world through the eyes of Andy’s toys.
There are multiple flats of Woody riding Bullseye in different animated styles.
There’s a flat of Zurg (as he appears in “Toy Story” films, not “Lightyear”).
Roundup Rodeo BBQ is of course named after Woody’s Roundup.
This bunny is one of the “prizes” from Toy Story Mania, the original ride in Toy Story Land.
Monkeys from the Barrel of Monkeys hang in a chain from a flat water tower. A toy train crosses a wooden track elevated using pencils.
Roundup Rodeo BBQ was previously supposed to open in 2022, but the restaurant was delayed. Disney released the menu for Roundup Rodeo BBQ last month. Check out our most recent construction update about the restaurant’s façade, which features a flat of Bullseye and crayon-drawn images of Jessie, Wheezy, and Bo Peep.
