I actually enjoyed Harmonious and loved the theming of international discovery from Milan to Coco to Tiana- every intentional detail was incredible. And ya the barges were up all day…. Honestly who cares- to see those things move so effortlessly as big as they were was like watching space technology from another planet. It is insane how imagineeers and entertainment tech cast members did all this. Just incredible!!!we are so excited that we will get to see Harmonious before it leaves…..

Whyyyyy?! Epcot’s shows have always been boring and awful. Harmonious finally brought an engaging show both visibly and musically and quickly became my favorite nighttime show at Disney. Not to mention finally gave other cultures a chance to shine. At least it’s only temporary but I don’t know how they’re going to do anything better than Harmonious.

I note that the only reference in the press release is to the removal of fireworks platforms – let us hope that the removals the StarGate ring which is the most obtrusive and incongruous part of the Harmonious show and causes the greatest disruption to the daytime vista across the lagoon.

The nighttime show was fine but the barges really did ruin the views of and across the lake. Perhaps if Disney had followed through on the promised daytime waterworks shows, it would have been different

Now this is good news! I was recently at Epcot and I can’t emphasize enough how much of an eyesore the “Stargate and tacos” barges are, completely ruining the view across the water. Whatever shows come next, I sincerely hope they do not include any permanent barges that sit there during the day.

If it was up to the true epcot center fans i say leave epcot forever as its epcot! Putting characters in places where they dont belong you end up being the issue w Harmonious and the defected version of Rivers! Where the real version of Rivers fit DAK and is missed Epcot forever should stay epcot forever! But i am just 1 person what do i know.
